House of Phua was founded by Mr. & Mrs. Phua in 1990. In the 1970s, Mr. Phua and his late father sold embroidery and handicrafts from China on the wheels before opening a physical store at the Singapore Handicrafts Centre at Chinatown Point.

Now led by second-generation jeweller Eve Phua, the legacy continues through Hope Jewels, embracing sustainable lab-grown diamonds to connect with a new, environmentally conscious generation. Inspired by her mother, Mrs. Phua, who began her jewellery journey at 21 with a dream of her own brand, Hope Jewels was born from a deep love for helping women feel elegant through classic, timeless pieces.

In 2024, House of Phua officially rebranded as Hope Jewels, a brand devoted to bring Happiness, Originality, Positivity, and Elegance to our Hope Jewels community.
